Free Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program for students with disabilities

What is MBSR?
This is an 8 week cumulative program that introduces various mindfulness practices, encourages the development of an ongoing meditation practice to increase resilience, and provides a framework for understanding the mechanisms and effects of stress in your life

Participants  Will Learn
How to develop a different relationship to stress and practical skills for managing stress.

The Research
The majority of MBSR program participants report lasting decreases in the psychological and physical symptoms of stress.  The research indicates good behavioural outcomes, such as better sleep and fewer worries.
