Mindfulness is a practice of being fully aware of whatever is happening in the present moment, without filters or the lens of judgment. It is a practice that can lead to better stress management, decreased anxiety, increased concentration and more balanced interaction with everyday situations.
This workshop is open to students from York's Disability Services (LDS, MHDS, PSMDS)
- Workshops will be 50 minutes in length
- They will include breath techniques, sitting and standing meditation practice
- For both beginners and experienced practitioners
